Nothing arrives as a gift with strings attached. If a brand sends something for testing, we say so and send it back afterward.

Identical setup, identical conditions, more than one tester. Scores stay comparable across products and across years.

We publish the misses
Products that scored badly stay up. A review we'd want to delete is a review worth reading.
